As Sea to Sky residents, we have spent an inordinate amount of time staring out at Howe Sound and appreciating its peaceful beauty. Dear to my own heart are days spent climbing the Stawamus Chief with views of the sound lifting my heart, mind and spirit. As part of the traditional territory of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation, Átl'ka7tsem, Nexwnéwu7ts, Txwnéwu7ts joins a network of fjords and is located northwest of Vancouver. In 2021 it was designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. May the Howe Sound Trucker kindle memories of magical days on the west coast, or encourage you to visit!
