Toddler Cottontail Trucker Hat

This design was inspired by a shy Mountain Cottontail that began to visit the wild rose bushes that line the edge of our property. Cottontails mainly live in wooded and brushy areas and eat green plants and grasses. They are mostly active at night and thump their hind feet on the ground to signal alarm when they are in danger. Cottontails have a long list of predators including owls, hawks and crows! The females build cozy nests using leaves and twigs and then line them with their own fur. Brave baby Cottontails leave their mothers after just one month!

The most beautiful + cool trucker cap!

A friend of mine in Vancouver who I was visiting had given me one of her Chicadee Designs trucker caps as a gfit (because I had so clearly fallen in love with it). I wore that hat regularly until the colors had faded from the sun. I just want to say that I loved that cap so much that I recently ordered two new Chicadee Designs trucker caps and had them shipped to me here in Switzerland! And it's so totally worth it! Both caps are comfortable, they have a great shape, and the designs and colors are simply gorgeous.
