The lynx prefers high elevation, northerly ecosystems and does not dwell on the coastal islands, with rare visits to the wet forests west of the Coast Range. Mostly active at night, lynx primarily predate on snowshoe hares and are solitary creatures, except when breeding or with dependent young. Have you ever seen one?
